The Getijdengebed app provides access to the official Roman Catholic liturgy of the hours in Dutch, including texts customized for the Netherlands and Flanders. This traditional prayer is observed at various times throughout the day by clergy, religious individuals, and devout laypeople.
During prayer, the app preloads upcoming prayers, allowing users to continue without an active internet connection, which enhances the practicality of prayer in diverse settings.
The application offers several features designed to facilitate a more focused and seamless prayer experience:
